 Rising 3's is a gentle introduction for most children to a pre-school environment. We aim to make this a positive experience in a stimulating, caring environment where children can feel safe, secure and respected.
- In line with the Birth to Three Framework. (Respect/Relationships/Responsive Care).
- Developing children's social & emotional skills and responding to children's individual needs.
- Links in with transition to playgroup.
We accept children who are 2 years and 6 months old and our sessions run Mon-Thurs 1pm-2.30pm. Please note that we currently have a waiting list.

 Welcome to Stonehaven Community Centre Playgroup where our fully qualified staff help create a friendly, caring, stimulating and supportive environment where children can feel safe, happy and secure. We provide care which is flexible and responsive to children's emotional and physical needs and can cater for children with additional support needs. Learning opportunities are matched to children's individual needs, experiences and interests. We work in partnership with parents/carers to provide a high quality service and our sessions run Mon-Fri 9.15am-11.30am.
- Government funded sessions available.
- Following the 3-5 years curriculum/curriculum for excellence.
- Focusing on the 5 key aspects of development: Emotional, Personal and Social, Knowledge and Understanding, Communication and Language, Physical Development & Movement and Expressive and Aesthetic Development.

 The creche runs in Stonehaven Community Centre on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9.30-12.00. The creche is a non-profit making and primarily supports classes, groups and activities within the area. It also gives opportunities for parents to get some respite time. Places are pre-booked and booking forms are available from the Community Centre reception.
